Frog Mating season...

The Common Kingfisher Alcedo atthis (above)-
ironically, this species is less common in the Botanic Gardens
than the White-throated Kingfisher, Halcyon smyrnensis.

Hardenbergia violacea

The false sarsaparilla, purple coral pea, happy wanderer or waraburra (above),
Hardenbergia, violacea, is native to Australia.

Frogs abound in the ponds at Jerusalem Boatnic Gardens in Springtime.
