Following last week's post on what makes someone quotable- for today's entry, I have a rather poetic quote from Galileo Galilei-
“The sun, with all those planets revolving around it and dependent on it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as if it had nothing else in the universe to do.”-Galileo Galilei
Very beautiful, I think.
Second quote for the week this week is another rather nice comment from the same source, which fits in neatly with an earlier theme on this blog about humility-
“To be humane, we must ever be ready to pronounce that wise, ingenious and modest statement 'I do not know'.”-Galileo Galilei.
Thanks for reading,
I will be back on Friday with more pictures of the natural world.
Best Wishes,Victoria
